always wanted with little or no change to your bite. Whether your teeth are crowded together,
overlapped or have spaces between them, for most adults straight teeth can be accomplished in
5-7 months at a cost that is less than invisalign or traditional orthodontics. We use State of the

Q. How can it be done in 6 months?
A. Short Term orthodontics utilizes the latest technology combined with time tested
orthodontic techniques to move your teeth quickly and safely.
Q. Can short term orthodontics damage the teeth, roots, or gums in any way?
A. No, the causes for the above complications are individual biology and high forces
over a long period of time. Our technique uses low force with a short treatment
duration to safely move the teeth.
Q. Are 6 month braces more painful than regular braces?
A: No. The 6 Month Braces Technique uses LOW force to move the teeth comfortably.
Many people think we just "tighten" the braces like crazy to get the teeth moving.
This would actually slow down tooth movement.
Q: Do 6 Month Braces cost more than regular braces?
A: No. There are fewer visits; so 6 Month Braces are actually less expensive than
traditional braces.
Q: Do I have to wear a retainer?
A: Yes, as with any orthodontic procedure a retainer is necessary. If you do not
want to wear a retainer very long you can have your teeth splinted together. There
are a variety of options based on your preference.
Q: Will I have a mouth full of Metal for 6 months?
A: No. 6 Month Smiles uses tooth colored brackets. People will hardly notice that
you are wearing braces. However, if you prefer, metal braces are available.
Q. How often do I have to come in?
A. Usually every 3-4 weeks for a 15 to 30 minute appointment, and a little longer
for the appointment when we put the braces on. Usually treatment is completed in 10
visits or less. Also, patients of this office are seen on time, so you will not be
waiting long to be seated for your appointment.
